About Us

WHERE WILDLIFE FINDS A SECOND CHANCE

Welcome to Nutting Stream Wildlife Rehab Clinic, where passion and dedication converge to give wildlife a second chance at life. Our story is a testament to our founder's love for nature and its creatures.

Deb Gordon's love for animals started at the tender age of five when she rescued her first frog. This simple act of kindness ignited a lifelong passion for helping creatures in need. Many rescued frogs later, Deb became known for her extraordinary efforts in rescuing and caring for a diverse array of wildlife, from countless turtlesearning her the affectionate nickname "The Turtle Lady"to foxes, skunks, salamanders, rabbits, ravens, snakes, chipmunks, and more. Each rescue was a step toward her true calling.

Her journey into formal wildlife rehabilitation began in 2023 with a chance encounter with an orphaned baby skunk. This experience opened her eyes to the world of wildlife rehabilitation, and she never looked back. Determined to turn her passion into profession, she enrolled in a wildlife rehabilitation course. By 2024, Deb had earned her Massachusetts permit and immediately founded the Nutting Stream Wildlife Rehab Clinic.
